CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

  • STRENGTH TRAINING

    Our Strength Training Class focuses on functional strength training with full-body workouts using free weights and kettlebells. Designed by a certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, the program progressively builds strength through a structured, science-based approach. You'll experience workouts similar to those used by elite athletes, aimed at enhancing not only your strength but also stability, balance, core strength, and overall confidence. By gradually increasing the weight and intensity of exercises, known as progressive overload, you'll continually challenge your muscles to adapt and grow stronger. This class offers a comprehensive fitness experience that helps you achieve and maintain your fitness goals.

  • CARDIO

    Our Cardio Class is designed to elevate your heart rate and improve cardiovascular health through high-energy workouts. This class features a mix of dynamic exercises, including interval training, aerobic drills, and bodyweight movements, to keep you engaged and challenged. By varying the intensity and type of exercises, you’ll experience both high-intensity bursts and steady-state cardio, ensuring a comprehensive and effective workout. The goal is to enhance your endurance, burn calories, and boost overall fitness in a fun and supportive environment. Whether you're looking to improve your athletic performance or simply stay active, our Cardio Class offers a diverse and engaging way to achieve your fitness goals.

  • BOXING STRENGTH/CARDIO

    Our cardio boxing and boxing strength class is a dynamic, high-energy workout that combines martial arts-inspired techniques with strength-building and cardio-focused exercises. Perfect for all fitness levels, this class features punches, kicks, bodyweight movements, and resistance training to deliver a full-body workout that enhances strength, endurance, agility, and power. Work at your own pace while pushing yourself to new limits in a fun, supportive environment. Whether you're looking to burn calories, relieve stress, or build confidence, this class offers an exciting path to achieving your fitness goals.

  • STRENGTH & STRETCH

    Our Strength and Stretch Class focuses on gentle stretching combined with elements of strength training for a balanced and invigorating workout. Using only your bodyweight, you'll flow through a series of stretching poses that seamlessly incorporate strength-building movements. This unique combination ensures a smooth transition between exercises, promoting flexibility, muscle tone, and overall body awareness. Suitable for all fitness levels, this class will leave you feeling energized and empowered, providing a comprehensive workout that enhances both strength and mobility.

  • BARRE

    Our Barre Class combines elements of ballet, Pilates, and strength training for a low-impact, high-intensity workout that targets the entire body. Using a ballet barre for support, you'll perform small, controlled movements and isometric holds that sculpt and tone muscles, improve posture, and enhance flexibility. This class is suitable for all fitness levels and abilities, with modifications available to ensure everyone can participate and benefit. By focusing on precise movements and proper alignment, you'll build strength, endurance, and grace. Experience a unique and effective workout that helps you achieve a lean, strong physique.

  • CARDIO & STRENGTH

    Our Cardio & Strength Class combines elements of our high-energy Cardio Class with the muscle-building workouts from our Strength Training Class to deliver a comprehensive full-body workout. This class alternates between heart-pumping cardio exercises and strength training moves using free weights and bodyweight resistance. The result is a dynamic and engaging workout that burns a ton of calories, builds muscle, and boosts overall fitness. Suitable for all levels, this class ensures you get the best of both worlds, helping you achieve a balanced and effective workout.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS

  • Drop-In Rate: $30 per class

  • Initial Registration Fee: $25 (one-time fee)

  • No Contracts: Passes are month-to-month

  • Parent Discount: Parents with a child enrolled at Kinetic Dance Force receive a 10% discount on all passes

MEET THE TEAM.

  • Cristina Valdes

    Cristina is a fitness professional with a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science from the University of Florida. She is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. She has a background in health and fitness as well as athletic performance training with over 10 years of certification and experience in the field. She has an extensive background from training professional and amateur athletes to working professionals with nominal experience in fitness. Her passion for fitness began through her love of sports and developed as a competitive collegiate pole vaulter for the University of Florida. Cristina currently teaches HIIT, Boot Camp, Basic Fitness, Strength & Tone, and K-Fit.

  • Herbert Hernandez

    Herbert spent his early childhood as an overweight child, but fitness played a transformative role in his life. His mission is to empower others to seize control of their well-being. Over the past 6 years, he served as a personal trainer in multiple gyms, aiding individuals on their fitness journeys. His experience extends to the Army Reserve, where he contributed to enhancing soldiers' physical abilities and aiding in injury recovery. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Health Sciences from UWF, and he is proud to be a certified ACE Personal Trainer, ACE Functional Movement Specialist, and ACE Fitness Nutrition Specialist. Beyond his professional endeavors, he is a devoted husband and a father to a baby boy.

  • Kimmie Louwsma

    Kimmie is the Owner and Artistic Director of Kinetic Dance Force. For 15 years, she has taught all ages and levels at various dance studios. Kimmie was a Dazzler at Seminole High school under the direction of Maureen Maguire. She moved to New York City at the age of 18 where she became a Radio City Rockette for 10 years. Kimmie was on the National Tour of The Mel Brooks musical, "The Producers" for 3.5 years, ending her tour in Tokyo, Japan. Kimmie always grew up with a love and passion for dance and for teaching. Kimmie currently teaches Barre and many other dance classes.
